Pair of Royal Doulton ‘Juno’ Design Sherry Glasses

This is a pair of high quality cut lead crystal sherry glasses from the ‘Juno’ range by Royal Doulton. The trumpet shaped bowl is cut with a design consisting of five large criss-crosses, the upper and lower arms of which come into close approximation. Within each diamond-shaped panel thus formed is a further criss-cross with elongated lower limbs, which cross over those of the larger criss-crosses. The smaller diamonds which result are each crosscut. Within the upper arms of each large criss-cross is a seven-pointed fan. The stem is baluster shaped and the foot is star cut and marked with the Royal Doulton crown logo. Each glass has a height of approximately 10.8cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 5.7cm and across the foot of about 4.8 cm. There are may be minor discrepancies in the dimensions due to the handmade nature of the glasses. They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
