Pair of Royal Doulton ‘Rolleston’ Design Small Tumblers

This is a pair of high quality cut lead crystal small tumblers from the ‘Rolleston’ suite by Royal Doulton. The tumbler is approximately cylindrical, tapering in towards the thickened star cut base. The body is cut with a lattice consisting of three rows of interlocking criss-crosses that diminish in size as they approach the base. Above the centre of each cross in the uppermost row there is a vertical wedge cut. It is unmarked. Each glass has a height of approximately 6.0cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 6.5cm and across the base of about 4.2cm. They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are some minute blemishes at the rims.
